Registration and describing your work
To start, you register with PANORAMA payments and verify your identity once. This is a standard check required by financial regulations. After that, you can create invoices whenever you have work to bill.
When you create an invoice, you describe the work you did for your client. You also provide the client's details: their name, email, and the country they are based in. You do not need to involve the client in your registration. They only see the invoice when it is sent.
The invoice your client receives
The invoice is issued by a United States company. It is not issued in your personal name. Your client's accounts payable team sees a domestic invoice with a US bank account for payment. They can pay by ACH or wire transfer, in US dollars. If they need a Form W-9, that document is available on request.
The client does not have to be American. PANORAMA payments accepts payment on behalf of clients in any country that is not under sanctions. The invoice can be issued in eleven currencies, including US dollars, euros, pounds sterling, Canadian and Australian dollars, and Swiss francs. Whoever the payer is, the money is received by the US company.
Receiving your payment at home
PANORAMA payments deducts one platform fee and pays you the remainder in your own country. The fee is only charged after your client has paid. There is no monthly subscription and nothing to pay upfront. You can receive payment by bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, a local account, or in dollar-denominated digital assets, depending on your country.
The payout method is set up when you register. You choose how you want to be paid. When a client payment clears, your money is sent to you in that way. The amount you receive is the invoiced amount minus the platform fee.
Your taxes and your responsibilities
You remain responsible for your own taxes in your home country. PANORAMA payments does not give tax advice and is not your employer. The service handles the payment collection and transfer, but you are the one who reports the income as required by local laws.
Keep your own records of invoices and payments. The platform provides you with a record of each transaction, but it is up to you to comply with the tax rules where you live.
