From signup to payment, step by step
You begin by registering and verifying your identity once. Then you describe the client and the work: the company name, the project, and the billing terms you have agreed. You do not need a US entity or a US bank account.
PANORAMA payments prepares the invoice and issues it to your client from a US company, so their accounts payable sees a domestic vendor. The invoice is in the currency you choose, usually US dollars, and the client pays by ACH or wire to a US bank account.
When the payment clears, PANORAMA deducts the platform fee and sends the remaining amount to you in your country. Nothing is charged before the client has paid, and there is no monthly subscription.
What your client receives and pays
For the client, the process is entirely domestic. The invoice comes from a US company, so their normal payment workflow applies. They can pay by ACH or wire transfer in dollars, and if they need it for their records, a completed IRS Form W-9 is available on request. You do not have to provide a W-9 yourself or worry about foreign vendor forms.
The client does not have to be American: a company in Canada, the UK, or anywhere else not under sanctions can also pay through this system. The invoice can be issued in eleven currencies, including US dollars, euros, pounds sterling, Canadian and Australian dollars, and Swiss francs, so a client in Germany can be invoiced in euros and still pay the US company. Whoever the payer is, the money is received in the United States.
Getting paid where you live
After the client's payment clears, PANORAMA payments sends you the money minus one platform fee. The method depends on your country: bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, a local account, Wise, or dollar-denominated digital assets. You choose what works for you every time, and there is no subscription fee.
The platform fee is deducted once, from the client's payment, before the money reaches you. There are no hidden charges and no charge until your client has actually paid. Because the payment originates from a US company, some banks may ask for additional information, but the process is standard for cross-border payments.
You stay independent
You remain an independent professional, not an employee of PANORAMA payments or your client. PANORAMA payments does not give tax advice, and it is not your employer. You are responsible for reporting and paying your own taxes in the country where you live, just as you would with any other freelance income.
The paperwork you receive from PANORAMA payments reflects the total amount your client paid and the fee deducted, which you can use for your own records. Since the invoice is issued by a US company, your client might report the payment on a US tax form, but that is between them and their tax authority. For your own taxes, consult a local accountant if you need guidance.
