Get paid for your WordPress work with US clients

As a WordPress developer outside the US, invoicing American clients often means losing money to international transfer fees. PANORAMA payments issues your invoice from a US company, so your client pays domestically by ACH or wire. You then receive the funds in your own country via bank transfer, Wise, or local account, after one platform fee.

What this looks like for you

Your WordPress work is sold as a custom theme, a plugin, a migration, or a monthly maintenance retainer. Some of that work is billed once, some every month. When the invoice is small, a transfer fee from a bank can be a large part of what you should keep. PANORAMA payments issues your invoice from a US company, so your client pays by ACH or wire as if you were local. You receive the funds in your own country through your usual banking or Wise, after one platform fee. No subscription, nothing charged before the client pays. You handle your own taxes, as always.

How WordPress work is sold and billed

You likely sell a custom theme, a plugin, a migration, or a maintenance retainer. Buyers in the US include local businesses, publishers, and agencies that manage WordPress sites for their own clients. The work is delivered remotely, and the billing terms are agreed before you start.

Billing is usually straightforward: a fixed price for a defined project, a recurring monthly amount for ongoing work, or tracked hours invoiced weekly or monthly. The work itself is clear; the payment path across borders is where friction appears. Maintenance work is small and frequent, and a transfer fee that is large relative to the invoice makes little sense.

How PANORAMA payments works for your WordPress projects

You register once and verify your identity. For each invoice, you describe the client and the work as you normally would. PANORAMA payments issues the invoice from a US company, so your client receives a standard American bill. The payer can be a company or a private individual, in the US or in any country that is not under sanctions.

The client pays by ACH or wire transfer to a US bank, in dollars. They can request a W-9 form if their accounting requires it. The money is received by the US company, and then PANORAMA pays you in your own country.

What your US client sees

From your client's side, this is a domestic transaction. They receive an invoice from a US company, payable in US dollars to a US bank account. No international wire, no foreign currency, no extra paperwork beyond what they already do for American vendors.

Your client does not need to sign up for anything. They pay the invoice as they would any other. If they need a W-9 for their records, PANORAMA provides it on request. You do not need a US entity or a US bank account yourself.

Getting paid in your own country

After your client pays, PANORAMA deducts one platform fee and sends the remainder to you. Depending on your country, you can receive funds by bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, a local account, or in dollar-denominated digital assets.

There is no monthly subscription and nothing is charged before the client has paid. The platform fee is the only deduction. You remain responsible for your own taxes at home. PANORAMA does not give tax advice and is not your employer.

How you get paid

  1. 1
    Register and verify once

An identity document and a photograph. It is done once, and it has to be finished before the first payout rather than on the day you are waiting for money.

  2. 2
Describe the client and the work

Who they are, what was agreed, the amount and the currency. The client and their country are screened before anything is sent, so a payment is not refused after the work is delivered.

  3. 3
The invoice goes out from a US company

Your client receives an invoice from a United States supplier, with US banking details and IRS Form W-9 on request. They pay by ACH or wire, domestically.

  4. 4
You are paid where you live

One platform fee is deducted and the rest is sent to you by whichever route works in your country: bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, a local account, or dollar-denominated digital assets.

One platform fee of 10% is deducted when you are paid. No subscription, no signup fee, and nothing is charged until your client has paid.

Questions people in this trade ask

My client wants to pay by ACH. Can they do that through PANORAMA?

Yes. The invoice is issued by a US company, so your client can pay with ACH or wire transfer to a US bank account. They can also request a W-9 form for their records. You don't need a US bank account yourself.

How do I get paid if I live outside the US?

After your client pays the invoice, PANORAMA deducts one platform fee and sends the remainder to you in your own country. Depending on where you are, that can be a bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, a local account, or dollar-denominated digital assets.

Is there a monthly fee to use PANORAMA?

No. There is no monthly subscription or setup fee. You only pay when a client pays you, and nothing is charged before that. The platform fee is deducted from the client's payment, and you receive the remainder in your own country.

Can I invoice for monthly WordPress maintenance?

Yes. You can set up a recurring invoice for a monthly maintenance retainer, or send a new invoice each month for ongoing work. The client pays the same way every time, and you receive the funds in your country after each payment is processed.

Do I still have to pay taxes in my country?

Yes, you remain responsible for your own taxes in your country. PANORAMA does not give tax advice and is not your employer. The platform simply collects payment from your client through a US company and sends it to you, after deducting one fee.
