Invoice US clients as a photo retoucher and get paid at home

You deliver retouched images to a US client and bill per image. PANORAMA payments issues the invoice from a US company, so your client pays by ACH or wire to a US bank with a W-9 available. After the client pays, PANORAMA deducts one fee and pays you in your country by bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, or digital assets.

What this looks like for you

You retouch images at volume and bill per delivered unit, often in cents. Your client is a US ecommerce company or studio that wants to pay by ACH to a US bank with a W-9. PANORAMA payments makes that possible: the invoice comes from a US company, so the client's accounts payable process is domestic. After the client pays, one fee is deducted and the balance is paid to you in your own country by bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, local account, or digital assets. No subscription, nothing charged until your client pays. You stay responsible for your taxes. That is it.

The work you do and how you bill for it

You retouch images for a catalogue or an ecommerce site. The client needs volume, consistent colour to background, files named to their scheme. You deliver per image and bill per delivered unit. Sometimes a fixed amount per image, sometimes a flat sum for continuing work.

The unit price is low, priced in cents and settled in bulk. If the payment method eats a percentage or a fixed fee on every transfer, it eats your margin. The client is likely a US company. Their accounts payable department wants to pay a US entity, with a W-9 and an ACH in dollars. Asking them to wire internationally is friction.

Why the payment method has to cost almost nothing

Your invoice is for a batch, perhaps a month of work. The total is modest, but the payment method has to move it without a meaningful cut. A fixed wire fee can eat a significant chunk of a smaller invoice. That is not sustainable.

PANORAMA payments lets you invoice through a US company that acts as the merchant of record. Your client pays that company, so the payment stays domestic for them. They can pay by ACH or wire to a US bank, and get a W-9 if asked. You do not have to incorporate in the United States or open a US bank account.

How PANORAMA payments works for photo retouchers

You register and verify your identity once. Then you describe the client and the work. PANORAMA issues the invoice from a US company, in US dollars, euros, pounds, Canadian or Australian dollars, Swiss francs, or another supported currency. The payer can be a company in any country that is not under sanctions.

Once the client pays, PANORAMA deducts one platform fee. No monthly subscription, nothing charged before the client pays. Then the balance is paid to you in your own country: bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, a local account, or dollar-denominated digital assets. You stay responsible for your taxes. PANORAMA is not your employer and gives no tax advice.

The client relationship stays between you and your client

PANORAMA payments does not get between you and the client. You still negotiate the rate per image, the delivery schedule, and the file specs. You still do the retouching and deliver the images. The only change is the payment route. Your client sees an invoice from a US company, pays it like any other US vendor, and you get paid in your own currency or digital assets.

How you get paid

  1. 1
    Register and verify once

An identity document and a photograph. It is done once, and it has to be finished before the first payout rather than on the day you are waiting for money.

  2. 2
Describe the client and the work

Who they are, what was agreed, the amount and the currency. The client and their country are screened before anything is sent, so a payment is not refused after the work is delivered.

  3. 3
The invoice goes out from a US company

Your client receives an invoice from a United States supplier, with US banking details and IRS Form W-9 on request. They pay by ACH or wire, domestically.

  4. 4
You are paid where you live

One platform fee is deducted and the rest is sent to you by whichever route works in your country: bank transfer, SWIFT, SEPA, Wise, a local account, or dollar-denominated digital assets.

One platform fee of 10% is deducted when you are paid. No subscription, no signup fee, and nothing is charged until your client has paid.

Questions people in this trade ask

Do my US clients need to do anything different to pay me?

No. They receive an invoice from a US company and pay it through their normal accounts payable process, by ACH or wire to a US bank. If they ask for a W-9, PANORAMA provides it. There is nothing for them to sign up for or install. The payment is domestic for them, even though you live outside the United States.

What does it cost to use PANORAMA payments?

There is no monthly subscription and nothing is charged before your client pays. When your client pays an invoice, PANORAMA deducts one platform fee and sends you the rest. The fee is shown to you before you send the invoice, so you know exactly what you will receive. There are no hidden charges.

Can I invoice in US dollars even if I live in a different country?

Yes. The invoice can be issued in US dollars, euros, pounds sterling, Canadian or Australian dollars, Swiss francs, and other supported currencies. Your client pays in that currency to the US company, and you receive the equivalent in your own country, in your own currency or in digital assets, depending on what is available where you live.

Do I have to form a US company or open a US bank account?

No. PANORAMA payments acts as the merchant of record through a US company. You register, verify your identity once, and describe your client and the work. You do not need a US entity, a US address, or a US bank account. The money is received by the US company and then paid to you in your own country.

Who is responsible for my taxes?

You are. PANORAMA payments does not give tax advice and is not your employer. You remain an independent contractor working for your client. The payments you receive are your business income, and you handle your tax obligations in your own country as you would with any other client payment.
